St. John’s University: Toxicology, Master of Science

Toxicology is the study the adverse effects of chemical, physical or biological agents on living organisms with the goal of enhancing the overall safety and health of the public. The Master of Science in Toxicology program at St. John’s University prepares students for careers in research, academia, regulatory agencies and industry.

Available on our Queens Campus, the coursework covers a broad range of disciplines including environmental toxicology, analytical toxicology, regulatory toxicology, mechanistic toxicology, and safety assessment. Graduate students will work closely with faculty who are experts in their respective fields and engage in active research programs in areas such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, molecular toxicology, nurotoxicology, and more.
