Introducing our new master’s degree program, approved by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, beginning this Fall - Museum Administration. This program provides opportunities for research and professional training in the history and preservation of cultural artifacts. Students have the opportunity to combine academic study with exposure to New York City museums and allows them to engage with experts within their field.
The course is available at our Queens Campus, Manhattan Campus, and Rome Campus. Applicants to the M.A. in Museum Administration must present:
- Evidence of the successful completion of a B.A. with at least 24 credits in art history or a major in a related area in the humanities (e.g., history, English, anthropology) and coursework in art history. Students with undergraduate majors in other areas may be admitted upon review by the graduate director and the Dean’s Office. Additional information here »
- Applicants must present a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 as well as 3.0 or better in the major discipline.
